COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT DISASTER RECOVERY (CDBG-DR)

ISC offers experienced professionals who are available to provide subject matter support in the design, management, and oversight of your community’s Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR). CDBG-DR is federal funding provided by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for long-term disaster recovery. Our staff have worked the nation’s largest disasters and are intimately familiar with how this program can best be utilized to rehabilitate and reconstruct housing, improve infrastructure and public facilities, and revitalize your community’s economy.

HUD Supplemental Disaster Recovery Funds provide flexible grants to help cities, counties and states recover from presidentially declared disasters, especially in low-income areas. Grants are generally noncompetitive and nonrecurring and derived by a formula that considers disaster relief needs unmet by other federal disaster assistance program.
